PLUS11 was founded at the heart of Silicon Slopes in Provo, Utah. Their first product launch was in 2013 at South By Southwest (SXSW) where Shaq picked their app, Speakerfy, as the winner of “Pitch Shaq”competition. Having Shaq pick them as the Top Startup instantly led to more opportunities. With the introduction of Platform, they are now bridging the gap between traditional Social Media and the future of niche, hyper-focused communities.
