Dr. Amanda Hackwell, of Arizona Developmental Psychology, LLC, is a Licensed Psychologist and certified school psychologist in the greater Phoenix area. We would love to help with your psychological assessment, consulting, and educational advocacy needs. We offer assessment services that identify areas of strengths and needs for cognitive/intellectual, academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and adaptive functioning. Specialty areas include psycho-educational assessment, which generally focuses on levels of functioning in the aforementioned domains, specifically relevant to academic performance within the educational setting. This includes identifying whether your child requires interventions and accommodations to access the general education curriculum to have equal access and to succeed in school. The purpose of assessment is to gain a better understanding of an individual’s overall functioning, arrive at a diagnostic conclusion and offer recommendations to guide treatment recommendations that serve to improve individual overall well-being and academic performance.
